- Picked up my bib, registered, got my shirt.
- Gathered my after-run bag: shirt, socks, roomy shoes, sweatshirt, banana, protein bars.
- Clothes for the run: shoes, socks, bra, leggings, shirt (bib pinned to shirt), large trash bag with a hole cut for my head, gloves.
- Water bottle filled, pocket filled with shot blocks, chapstick, tylenol.
- Neoprene waist-sac (ok fine it’s a fanny pack): protein bars, baggie for my phone.
- Baggie in my pants’ pocket for my car key.
- Cap is on the counter next to the sink.
- Breakfast is ready to go: bread, peanut butter, honey, banana assembled next to toaster. Kettle filled, teabag next to mug, travel mug also prepared.
- 8:55 PM. Asleep within 30 minutes, I hope. But we’ll see.
- Awake by 5:00.
- Leave house by: 5:30.
- Drive time: 45 mins.
- Extra time for parking: 30 minutes.
- Extra time for shenanigans: 30 minutes.
- Start time: 7:30
- Estimated pace: 10-minute miles.
- Finish line by 9:40-ish.
